Ramadan is near and during this month we have to prepare ourselves for a peaceful month.
Please follow the below steps before Ramadan:-
1. Memorizing important Dua,s
Take some time in memorizing important dua’s. Some of the important dua’s are:
اللهم إنك عفوٌ كريم تحب العفو فاعف عني
Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun kareemun tuhibbul ‘afwa fa’fu ‘anni
“O Allah, You are Most Forgiving and Generous; You love to forgive, so forgive me.
اللهم أجرني من النار
Allahumma ajirni min an-naar
“O Allah, protect me from the Fire.”
ربنا آتنا في الدنيا حسنة وفي الآخرة حسنة وقنا عذاب النار
Rabbana atina fi’d-dunya hasanatan wa fi’l-akhirati hasanatan wa qina ‘adhaban-nar
“Our Lord, grant us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.”
2. Work on self improvement
Try to get skills in obtaining patience. Don’t overreact to difficult situations and bear in mind to handle all the situations peacefully. Try to be kind with your siblings, parents and your relatives. If you get any harmful words then try to reply nicely or keep in silence.
3. Reciting Quran
Try to give a specific time in reciting the Quran. Learn the translation and tafseer of the Quran. This will make a good impact on your personality and it will also help you in preparation of Ramadan. If you feel difficulty in reciting the Quran then make habits of listening to the Quran.
4. Do Nafil Roza
Try to start doing Nafil Roza on Monday and Thursday. This will make you punctual in doing Roza in Ramadan also.
5. Praying 5 times a day
If you miss your prayers often then try to pray all namaz. Prefer to go to the mosque for praying but if you feel difficult then you can also offer your Salah at home.
6. Wake up early
Make a habit to wake up early in the morning before Ramadan starts. This will make you punctual.
7. Buy necessary things
Try to buy all the necessary things like your monthly grocery and other things before Ramadan. This will help you in spending your Ramadan peacefully.
8. Take water
Start using water more. You may get dehydrated in the month of Ramadan. So you have to make a habit of consuming more water in the morning and evening.
9. Help others
Make a plan for helping needy people around your society. Also make donations in this holy month.
10. Educate kids and family members
Teach your kids and family members about the blessings of Ramadan and the benefits of fasting. This will inspire yourself also.
